Katharine loves creating personalized works of art that tell meaningful stories and beautifully complement her clients spaces no matter the shape or size.
The commission process is intentional and involved, and each unique work is carefully crafted to incorporate your interests, aesthetic preferences, and the elements that matter most to you.
Our process
1.
All commissions begin with an initial consultation with Katharine or a member of the Heyl team to discuss aesthetic preferences, sizing, pricing, final installation location, deadlines, and any questions you might have.
2.
Once the details of the commission are settled, a 40% deposit is sent via invoice to begin the project.
3.
A studio visit with Katharine is then arranged, during which you will have the opportunity to view Katharine’s work in person and discuss her process and plan for your commission.
4.
Katharine will begin bringing your project to life, ensuring the final work is completed on schedule and exceeds your expectations. Commissions usually take about 4-6 weeks to complete.
5.
With final approval, the remaining deposit is sent and shipping is arranged.
